Gracefully shaped Wedding vase by Maricopa Indian artist Phyllis Cerna, 1940-2005. Daughter of Vesta Bread and daughter-in-law of Mabel Sunn, Phyllis was surrounded by pottery making legends her whole life. Traditionally hand built with native clay, stone burnished slip, mesquite sap paint, pit fired. Fine original condition. 10" tall, 6 1/2" across the spouts.
