Mary John of Chinle, Arizona wove this traditional floor rug in the 1980s. Trading Post wool is hand spun and woven on wool warp. 4'4" by 6'5". Edges are nice and even. The central diamond element is surrounded by the deep Ganado red which creates the illusion of a horned toad, called Grandfather by the Navajo. Excellent flag border is black and white, all design elements are crisp! Perfect as a floor rug or wall hanger, never been on the floor, mint original condition. Buyer pays $25.00 for shipping and insurance. |
