Hopi Indian Bird Pottery by Jean Sahmie
A sweet and perky bird is created out of Hopi clay by Jean Sahmie, Sak'Honsee, Tobacco Flower Girl. It could be a dove or a swallow or even a parrot, but it brings water to Hopi.

Jean is the eldest daughter of Priscilla, grand-daughter of Rachel and great-granddaughter of Annie Healing, all great potters of the Nampeyo lineage.

this pottery bowl is 5" long by 3" wide by 3 1/2" to the top of its head.

Like new condition, signed.
