Helen Cordero Grandfather Storyteller

Territorial Indian Arts Gallery presents two Helen Cordero Storytellers for sale, they are as scarce as hen's teeth!

A very early example of Helen Cordero's wonderful pottery people, the Storyteller figure which she patterned after her Grandfather, sits 9 3/4" tall. Singing the stories of the People to his grandson who is holding a ball, and is joined by his dog.

This wonderful Storyteller is from about 1968, when Helen first showed her art at the Heard Museum. This is from the Estate of a long time volunteer at the Heard Gift Shop, where she saw the very first new things to arrive.

Mint condition of the Grandfather adds to his value!

Buyer pays $25.00 for shipping and insurance.
