Lovely small pottery bowl by a Hopi Indian artist in the Sikyatki Revival style, features a Palhik Mana beautifully painted inside the bowl with bold exterior elements.
The 9" diameter low bowl is finely formed and smoothly burnished, pit fired to a golden color. Since there is no signature, it dates easily first quarter of the 20th century.
Note the asymmetry in the design, we would love to attribute this to a famous artist, but hesitate to do so.
Fine original condition, there may be a bit of overpaint (possibly by the artist) just to the the left of the face. No cracks or chips.
Buyer pays $20.00 for shipping and insurance.
