Preston Monongye Cast Silver Bracelet

A man sized bracelet by the Master Hopi silversmith Preston Monongye is tufa cast silver with a Peyote Bird and Peyote symbols. Set with two large Royston turquoise and finished with a bar of inlay: turquoise, coral, ivory and jet.

This impressive bracelet is over 2" tall, the interior measures a little over 6" plus the gap of 1 1/4". Very heavy!

Preston Monongye 1927-1987, was known for his tufa casting, He was innovative along side Charles Loloma, in his own way.

No Indian jewelry collection is complete without an example of Preston's artistry!
