Classic old Navajo Indian jewelry, very simple hand crafted beads of three sizes are strung on an old leather thong with a cast silver naja as the pendant.
The beads are of various shapes, hammer marks are visible, holes are punched out. Great age patina. 52 beads, 19" long.
The tufa cast naja is 2" by 2", the center element is like a straightened corn blossom. Enhanced with a deep green natural turquoise in hand made bezel, soldered atop the crest. Appropriate wire bale for the era.
This is a style of Indian jewelry that dates back to the later days of the 19th century and into the 20th. Very hard to date.
Buyer pays $15.00 for shipping and insurance.
