Apache Indian beadwork purchased at the Salt River Canyon store on the San Carlos Reservation circa 1964. Colorful beads adorn this braintanned hide flat bag, one side is bright with fire colors the other is dark like the night sky with stars of 3,4 and 5 points. Nice handiwork includes fringe loops, edging of the leather drawstring and edging of the cut outs for the drawstring. Old metal zipper closure works fine. No missing beads! Some darkening of the leather which is still soft. Dimensions are 9" by 9". Buyer pays $12.00 for shipping. |
