Mono Yokuts Basin Basket
Sweet little bowl is either Mono or Yokuts Basin Indian basketry. Woven with wefts of sedgeroot, bracken fern (black) and redbud coiled over a bundle of epicampes rigens. Nice polychrome snake band surrounds the body, a coil of red and and a coil of black on the base.

This 1920s era basket has no missing stitches or coil breaks, original condition, golden age patina.

Buyer pasy $15.00 for shipping and insurance.
