Rather primitive "Fred Harvey" style of silver bracelet set with an oval turquoise. The silver work is not perfect, not is the tooling entirely straight, looks like someone's early attempt to make a Harvey type bracelet. The old turquoise is green with brown matrix, could be Cerillos. Definitely an old piece of jewelry, circa 1930s. The center is 5/8" wide, tapering to 1/2", the interior of the silver is 5 1/2" plus a gap of 3/4". Note the repousse "beads" at the ends. Buyer pays $10.00 for shipping and insurance. From an estate collection of fine Indian jewelry, dating from 1935-1965. All purchased at trading posts on the reservation. |
