Impressive necklace with silver beads and tufa cast naja and "blossoms", Navajo Indian circa 1970s. A variant squash blossom style, the tufa cast blossoms measure 1 1/16" long by 1" wide, the naja is 2 1/8" in both directions. Overall length is 26 1/2". Each hand crafted silver bead is much higher quality than usually seen on this type of necklace, 7/16" diameter and tooled. This pretty Indian jewelry does have some weight, not a light tourist piece! Buyer pays $12.00 for shipping and insurance. Purchased on the Reservation in the 1970s. |
