Wonderful Hopi Indian buckle, circa 1940s-1950s when the overlay style was being developed. It has a pueblo style bird, similar to Sikyatki pottery design. The cut out silver is laid over a shadow box background with the borders applied and tooled. This belt buckle for man or woman is 2" by 3". Will fit a belt of 1 1/2" wide.
