DECO MEXICAN DOUBLE PULSERA de COCOS SILVER BRACELET
A double, extra wide, heavy Pulsera de Cocos - now that's a treat, isn't it? Automatically associated with Spratling's early design period, the Cocos Bracelet has an intense earthiness, seductive and so traditional at the same time! Voluptuous, bold silver beads embraced by stylized leaves and tiny semi-spheres held together with thick twist rope jump rings make up this astounding piece. A bracelet for the proud, daring female... Measuring a wearable 7 1/2" long by 1 3/4" wide it weighs 72.6 grams. It is hallmarked "STERLING" twice and dates in the 1930s. In excellent vintage condition with great patina and just two very very shallow, very very small, literally imperceptible impressions in the repousse spheres. Please note that a few of the small semi-spheres on the sides of the big beads have openings; this is not damage but a result of the crafting process - one of those little "imperfections" that give hand wrought Mexican jewelry their unique character.
