| Quintessentially Deco both in design as well as in their stellar combination of silver and black onyx this is a superb set of Mexican dangle earrings! Overlay and dark oxidation make for the architectural half-moons that hold the teardrop black onyx dangles - elegant, classy yet so daring and mysterious at the same time. The earrings are 2 7/16" long by approx. 1/2" wide (at their widest) and the set weighs 11.5 grams. They are signed with maker's initials "JMM" as well as "HECHO EN MEXICO D.F" and a badly stamped "0925" somewhere in there. The set dates in the 1930s-40s and is in excellent vintage condition.
