SOLD - Thank you!
|Emulating one of Enrique Ledesma's well-known mod designs characterized by the abstract, almost biomorphic silver appliques on oxidized sterling backgrounds the hinged bracelet offered here was made in Taxco during the time Sigi was active but is signed by one of his contemporaries about whom not much is known. High quality workmanship, mint oxidation - as if this piece was never worn or was taken care of really really well - and a warmly glowing abstract design at the center of its face make for an impressive, eye-catching bracelet. The bracelet has an inner circumference of 7" while its width varies between 1 1/4" and 3/8". It weighs 38.2 grams and is signed with maker's initials "CP" in a circle formed by "STERLING 925 TAXCO MEX". It dates in the 1940s and is in excellent vintage condition with the added security of a safety chain.
