Born in Oaxaca but living and working in the American Southwest Federico Jimenez creates jewelry in silver combining his Mexican heritage with Native American influences. I would suggest that the monumental arm band bracelet presented here is as much a piece of jewelry as an artifact in and of itself. Comprised of eight thick gauge sterling panels, their width tapering from top to bottom to better fit your arm, it has deep hand-chased ornamentation with each panel adorned with bezel set black onyx cabs. An uncontested statement piece, the bracelet is 7" long (wearable), measured at mid-height and 3 1/2" tall. It weighs a massive 184.8 grams and is signed with Jimenez's conjoined initials J and F as well as "STERLING". In excellent vintage condition with the added security of a safety chain.
