I am happy to present here a rather difficult to find early Taxco bracelet - I have come upon this specific design in its necklace form a couple of times but have only seen the bracelet once before. Hand-wrought in well-pronounced repousse it consists of a double row of tulips facing away from each other. I am particularly attracted to the patina it has acquired over time - 980 alloys "age" really gracefully - and the piece's generous width. Measuring a wearalble 6 1/4" long (actual length is 7"), the bracelet is 1 5/8" wide and weighs 39.2 grams. It is perfect for smaller to medium wrists, dates in the 1930s-early 1940s and is simply marked "TAXCO 980". In very good vintage condition with one small impression in one of the tiny beads. For those of us who love sets, please note that the matching necklace and earrings are also currently available in my inventory - you can see them together in the last photo.
