| Early and spectacular Mexican Deco bracelet consisting of three curved links with beaded and wirework ornamentation on oxidized silver platforms. This is a classic "warrior" piece yet its proportions take it above and beyond most examples of this genre. Held held in place with big, hand-wrought prongs the "warriors" are simply incredible... The bracelet has an inner circumference of 7 1/2" (clasped) and it is 2" wide. The jade carvings are approx. 1 3/8" square and at least 1/4" thick. With its weight registering at 95.4 grams the bracelet is marked "MADE IN MEXICO" and guaranteed to be of at least 900 silver even though I believe it's most probably of sterling quality. This is an early piece, from the 1930s, and in excellent vintage condition. Definitely a daring woman's bracelet! | ||
