Vintage Italian, eye-catching and definitely statement-making 800 silver charm bracelet in the so-called Etruscan style easily recognized by the profusion of silver florets and tiny little beads that adorn it!
An iconic form of early 20th c "grand tour" jewelry, charm bracelets of this type were also made by the Peruzzi Bros but even more were crafted in smaller yet equally good workshops along the streets of Italy's most popular tourist cities.
Here the bracelet has 5 chunky, impressively architectural charms, all of them but the filigree ball set with colorful gems:there is chrysoprase and coral and lapis lazuli here as well as glass cabs in amethyst and red.
The bracelet is 7 3/4" long (wearable; total lenght is 7 7/8") and 9/16" wide at the chain. The fobs are between 1 1/2" by 1" (for the biggest with the lapis) and 1 1/8" by 5/8" (for the smallest with the red glass) and the ensemble weighs 52.0 grams. Simply marked "800", so I would date it in the pre-1934 period. In excellent vintage condition with one small, shallow flake off the lapis (you can see it in the detail photo).
