| One of the sweetest, most romantic, delicate designs in the repertoire of vintage Mexican jewelry, I believe this specific motif was originally a Margot de Taxco creation. The floral links are textured with beading and repousse semi-spheres and though they dainty and airy, the necklace itself has good presence and attracts the eye effortlessly. Measuring 16 1/4" long it is 3/4" wide and weighs 26.7 grams. Is is signed with maker's initials "LM" as well as "TAXCO STERLING 925" and there seems to be a partially stamped Eagle mark there as well. I believe it dates in the 1950s-early 1960s and it is in excellent vintage condition with great patina. | ||
