I am fascinated by these vintage Taxco "dimpled dot" hinged bracelets - a genre in which the Los Ballesteros taller excelled and was understandably emulated by other contemporary talleres. I find them easy to wear, love the different stones that usually adorn them, and when they are not massive, I even like to combine them with other, similar pieces. The example here holds an aqua blue topaz in a crown setting and is signed by a still unidentified Taxco maker. Its inner circumference is 6 7/8" (clasped) and its width varies between 1 3/8" at center front and 5/8" at its narrowest. It weighs 31.3 grams and is signed with maker's initials "OO" as well as "TAXCO 925 STERLING" albeit partly stamped. I believe there is also an Eagle stamp there but it seems to have been covered by some silver solder so it's not clearly visible. If that is the case, the bracelet dates in the 1950s-60s. In very good vintage condition with two minor, shallow impressions in one of the "dimples" under the stone - not readily visible, they don't really detract from the bracelet's beauty at all.
