One Good Eye Silver

SOLD - Thank you!
Alongside Sigi Pineda and Enrique Ledesma Erika Hult de Corral is one of my favorite modernist jewelry designers - her work is imaginative, never fails to surprise and and her genuine creativity results in unfailingly impressive pieces without having to resort to fussy design. Her creations do not come up very often yet she obviously has a rather loyal following that appreciates her aesthetic and seeks after her jewelry. I am therefore thrilled to present this bracelet of sterling abstract links adorned with chrysoprase. I find the way the silver is bent and twisted to form the links particularly pleasing to the eye - there is something primordially symbolic about it that almost makes you think of infinity knots. And the gentle green of the stones could not find a better setting to showcase it. Ideal for smaller to medium wrists the bracelet has an inner circumference of 6 3/4" (clasped) and its width goes up to 1 1/2". It weighs 79.8 grams and is signed with de Corral's "Ric" signature in script as well as with Eagle 3 assay mark, "TAXCO 925" and des. no 132. It dates in the 1960s and is in excellent vintage condition.
