Apparently a bracelet that doesn't come up very often since its makers,
the Bjorklund Bros, only stayed in business for a short ten year period,
this is a gorgeous piece adorned with pale, semi-translucent pink or better peach stones
(a kind of quartz maybe?).
Based in Copenhagen, the Borklunds created less-is-more, distinctly Danish mod jewelry between 1961 and 1971.
Their brief business presence does not seem to have affected the popularity of their jewelry; on the contrary, their rarity makes them even more intensely sought after.
And this bracelet is a great example of their work.
With a total length of 7 3/4" (yet your wrist should not exceed 7 1/8" for you to be able to hook it) it is 3/4" wide and weighs 25.4 grams. It is signed "Brd B" as well as "925S" and "STERLING DENMARK" (very difficult to take a good photo because the hallmarks are behind the hook of the clasp yet it's all guaranteed to be there). Dating in the 1960s and in excellent vintage with no flaws noted and beautiful patina.
