Truly stupendous vintage brutalist silver ring -
how can one even begin to describe it?
Like a jagged terrain made of sterling,
its ridges sharp and its valleys deep and oxidized,
this is a veritable wearable landscape.
Heavy, big, stunning with three gems adorning it that read as spinels on my Presidium DuoTester.
The ring is a sz 7 with its face measuring 1 1/16" by 1" while the shank is 1/2" wide. Its thickness reaches an amazing 5/16" and it weighs 46.8 grams. Unsigned (I am still astonished at that) yet guaranteed sterling, dating in the 1960s-70s and in excellent vintage condition with patina to die for.
