Based on the dramatic contrast of highly polished silver against dark, oxidized backgrounds, Sigi's jewelry is eye-catching without having to be burdensomely elaborate. The necklace at hand illustrates, I believe, my assertion in the best possible way. Gorgeous, a pleasure to wear and to behold, and a true Tasco (sic) modernist treasure. It measures just shy of 16" long (wearable) with the central mirrored part of it being 4" wide and 1" tall (at its tallest); the width of the chain itself is 5/16" and the necklace's weight registers at 74.4 grams. It is marked with Sigi's name above "Tasco" as shown as well as with "MADE IN MEXICO STERLING", Eagle 3 assay mark and des.no 15. Dating in the 1950s and in excellent vintage condition.
