Vintage Hector Aguilar “Six Spheres” necklace wrought in 940 silver, this is one of the maestro’s most published designs. One of those necklaces that become the backbone of a serious collection and precious heirlooms to be passed down from mother to daughter to grand-daughter. Measuring 20″ long (yet with wide links as these the extra length is needed for a better fit) by 1 3/4″ wide it weighs a generous 246.3 grams. Signed with Aguilar's initials as shown as well as “TAXCO” and “940”, a combination dating the necklace to the 1940-45 period. In excellent vintage condition with stunning presence, great patina and just a couple of very small, literally indiscernible nicks in one or two spheres.
