One of the few known female Taxco silversmiths and designers and a modernist at that, Erika Hult de Corral's work has a slick elegance and a quality that justifies the desirability her creations enjoy. The set of "pagoda" dangle earrings I am presenting here is both difficult to find and a pleasure to wear and to behold. They are
just shy of 1 7/8" long by 3/4" wide (at their widest) and weigh 14.0 grams (for the set). Marked with maker's signature "Ric" in script as well as Eagle 3 assay mark (on the screw backs) and design no 1012, the pair dates in the 1960s and is in excellent vintage condition with great patina and no flaws noted. Please be advised that the findings on this set are a combination of screw-back and clip which is some times the case with earrings from this specific period.
