Inspired by Margot de Taxco and the Los Castillo "swan" parures, an anonymous Mexican silver repousse demi comprised by necklace and bracelet in this most favorite classic Deco motif. Nicely executed in silver sheet of medium thickness that allows the set to make its presence felt when you have it on, both pieces have gorgeous patina and are a pleasure to wear and to behold. The necklace has a generous length of 17 7/8" (wearable; might even feel a little more comfortable because of the dip above the birds' heads in the central medallion); central link is 2 3/4" wide with a drop of 2 5/8" while the width at the chain is 5/8". The bracelet is 7 1/4" long (wearable) by 1 1/4" wide and the demi together weighs 102.6 grams. Both pieces are marked "STERLING" or "SILVER" and "MEXICO" which indicates a pre-1948 date for it. In excellent vintage condition with great patina, ready to be proudly displayed and enjoyed again.
