Stupendous vintage Mexican silver necklace, this piece is simply marked with Eagle 22 which was used by many acclaimed designers including Fred Davis, Abraham Paz and Antonio Pineda himself. One of the boldest mod necklaces I have had in a while, its links are wrought using the overlay technique and shaped like arrows and scrolls with deeply cut, oxidized details. At 17" long (wearable), it is generously comfortable and just shy of 1 1/2" wide. It weighs a good 67.9 grams and marked with Eagle 22 assay mark and "MEXICO STERLING". It dates in the 1950s-60s and is in excellent vintage condition with great patina, strong presence and no damage or repairs - a great Mexican modernist necklace!
