Hector Aguilar Sterling Silver Bracelet
This is Hector Aguilar’s sterling silver bracelet. It was designed and made in Aguilar's taller in Taxco, Mexico circa 1940-1945. The beaded circles are linked together by 3 separate elongated thick silver wires. One of these bracelets is illustrated on page 63 of Morrill's book: Silver Masters of Mexico. The hallmarks read MADE IN MEXICO HA (conjoined) STERLING. The box closure is tight and secure. The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition; wear from normal use no abuse. It measures 6 ¾ inches long by 1&1/8 inch wide and weighs 62 grams or 2 ¼ ounces (on my kitchen scale). Aguilar was a contemporary of Spratling, Antonio Pineda, Los Castillo, Frederick Davis and Margot de Taxco. Email or call with questions. Thank you for your interest.
