| Art Deco theatrical poster for the play, Lysistrata by Aristophanes. Poster designed by American artist Witold Gordon (died 1968) who had an extensive career as an illustrator including extensive commisions for the New Yorker magazine. Measures 41 by 82 inches. Printed on seperate sheets and once folded. Now mounted on canvas so very presentable but faults include tears wrinkles, etc. Currently framed but would ship unframed unless local delivery could be arranged ( located in Eastern PA).
