| A Japanese MEIJI Period woman's tobacco pouch and KISERUZUTSU pipe case set. The pipe case is made of ivory with a simple shape. The loop to which the string to the case is attached is beautifully carved as a branch of a flower coming out of a basket of flowers. The pouch is made of a dark brown leather. The clasp is in a gold toned metal in the shape of a flying crane. The clasp is signed on the bottom. The OJIME is made out of malachite. The pouch measures 4" wide and 2 1/2" tall. The pipe case measures 7 1/2" long and 1" wide. | ||||||||||||
