A very ornate Islamic engraved brass box, possibly for tobacco, of rectangular form, the lid with bevelled edges. The scene on the lid depicts a hunting scene with the central horseman retrieving a bird from the ground whilst suspended precariously from his saddle. AN ISLAMIC SILVER AND TURQUOISE PENDANT, 19TH CENTURY.
The pendant is formed of two hexagonal cylinders hinged together and held rigid by a swinging suspension loop at the top and a hinged bar at the bottom. The front and sides are encrusted with turquoise stone of circular and gul form, the back engraved with flowers. No marks.
