An Indian brass cylindrical box and cover profusely decorated with Hindu gods within Nandi borders. The metal is of a decent gauge giving the box a substantial feel, much heavier than the thin tourist work. The work is reminiscent of that from Benares. 19th century.
4.3/4 inches (12.1cm) base diameter, 8.1/2 inches (21.6cm) high. Perfect condition.
