| This Oil on Canvas, "The Artist Model", Lucienne Vandervinnen, Belgian (1925-2001), is in Excellent Condition, c.late 1940's. Vandervinnen attended the Academy of Brussels in the late 1930's where her professors included a number of the finest Belgian Post-Impressionist painters of the pre-war period. After graduation she commenced her career as both a painter and sculptor of the human form. During the 1950's she held frequent exhibitions at many of the premier art galleries in Brussels where her work was highly acclaimed by the public and critics alike. Her work today may be seen in many prominent private collections and on public display in the City of Museums of Schaerbeek and Anderlecht.
