A most unique carved horn stash box. It is from Indonesia. It is 8 1/2" tall. At least 35 years old. Wonderful style and design. Looks like a piece of modern art. It is a true piece of tribal art. Has natural cracks associated with carved horn, does not detract from look or value. Came from a very good collection of Indonesian art. I have never seen anything quite like it, it opens for storage of notes, medicines, herbs, etc.

Vintage, possibly antique snuff bottle. Colors, quality and depth of enameling and the medallion on the bottom have not been seen for many decades. This bottle has designs relating to flower arrangements and a scholars desk top. It is about 2 3/4" tall. Really detailed workmanship, a time consuming art that is not now done so this bottle is a great find at a great price. At least 60 years old.

Over 40 years ago I attended a show with demonstrations by the well known and important Italian ceramicist Marcello Fantoni. I purchased two pieces, unfortunately sold one years ago, but now I offer this classic example of his work. He used glass enamel engobes to color his pieces, he set many style trends. His work is in Museums all over the globe. This undamaged, signed piece is 6 5/8" [16 cm across and 4 cm deep. OUTSTANDING.

I have seen a number of names attached to this type of crude export ware from Japan. It is probably not Sumida, but I have seen them called poo ware to describe the raised relief decoration set into the body of the piece. You can see a Buddha Figure. This piece is in excellent condition and double marked, Made in Japan on bottom and a stamp boxed glyph on the back bottom that I can not make out. This piece is about 5 3/4" tall. It is at least 70 or 80 years old.
