| The price is for both rug wall hangings. I purchased these wall hanging rugs in China in 1984. They were showpieces on display in a top of the line rug company showroom. They were not new when I purchased them so I would guess they are about fourty to fifty years old. They are two of the most detailed finely woven works I have seen. The colors are subtle, the carving is outstanding. I had them hanging for about a dozen years and they should be cleaned by a very good rug cleaning company. The set designs copy a Tang dynasty original painting of Women Weaving. They were never on the floor for good reason, I could not bear to walk on them, but they are 100% wool rugs. They are ready to hang and are 22" X 37". The photos do not do full justice to these rugs, they are so outstanding. Shipping outside of USA may be difficult, I hand carried these into the USA and would prefer that they stay here. | ||
