| Price os for both rugs. 22" X 37". See images of the mate to this rug. I purchased these from an outstanding rug factory in China [Hong Kong store] in 1984, they were not new then. They were on display to show how fine the quality of work that this company could do. They did not want to sell these so I had to pay a very high price at the time in Hong Kong. They have very subtle colors that are very hard to show in the images. The carving is almost like carved colored ivory. The wool is a very close weave. They are all done by hand, no machines. The pattern is a copy of a Tang dynasty painting of women weaving. They are of Museum Quality and a real treasure. PLease note that one image in this page is for the other rug used to show carving details. I would prefer not to ship out of the USA. | ||
