| I was told that these unusual hand carved stone figures were carved by the Women of Bolivia. I was told they were meant to trap and hold sorrows and worry. What ever the function this piece is a wonderful piece of one of a kind folk art. It is from Bolivia and marked as such on the bottom. I would guess the age to be between 10 and 20 years old. It is 3 1/2" tall. No chips or damage. | ||
