| A charming elephant with a baby is the subject of this unusual snuff bottle. It is hand carved from Taga nut, a very hard durable fruit core that has been carved for centuries. This material undervalued due to the fact that is somewhat abundant, but it is probably the hardest natural material to carve. This great elephant is about 2 1/4" long. It has a bone top and metal spoon. Great details. About 20 years old. | ||
