| These red clay pieces were made to hold and serve foods. The valued clay is also used to make expensive and fine tea vessels. This beautiful goard shaped pot is decorated in a traditional style using a heavy onlay of enamel glaze. The shape is lucky and was probably meant to hold wine. It could hold wine, saki or flowers. It has no mark but is was made in the way other pieces I have that are at least fifty years old. It has no damage, I do not list pieces with damage or repairs with out a very clear notice. It is just under 6 1/2" tall. A good piece at a good price that will inclease in value with age, these are not now being made. | ||
