| This is a superior piece of Classic Mid 1800s Japanese Kutani Ware. Soft cream colored "porcleain" body, Red and Gold overglazed. Scholars pattern. One of the finest and most heavily detailed Kutani pieces I have seen. I purchased this bowl from a top antique dealer in Kyoto in 1971. Bowl is 8" diameter and 3 1/2" tall. Good mark. Low asking price for an outstanding Japanese antique of museum quality. | ||
