| The plump traditional prosperity Buddha, or childrens buddha is the choice for this nice snuff bottle. Cinnabar has gone through many transitions in China. The older softer is quite toxic to workers and collectors. This is a type of cinnabar that was put into production about 30 years ago. It is a newer form of cinnabar, not as soft or toxic as older. This bottle has a lot of hand work, it is a bit larger than most snuff bottles at about 3" wide at base. It has a bone spoon. A very nice decorative curio. | ||
