In an iridescent blue glass, this vase shimmers in shades of purple, green and gold depending on the light. One, lone blue and white flower is slightly raised to the touch with a center of yellow. Vertical streaks in reed-like shapes appear intermittently around the entire circumference. This blown vase is a lovely example of the artist's earlier work. Pontil marks are present and polished. This graceful example of Czechoslovakian glass rises 9 1/4" with its 6 1/2" diameter bowl and foot decorated in silver. The rich cobalt color is a deep blue.
