| In its original presentation box, this excellent millefiori paperweight displays a modernist Christmas Tree composed of green & white canes with 1 ring of red, blue & white canes over a clear translucent ground with a black base. It features six small side facets and one large top facet. This lovely art piece was issued two years after the Scottish firm, Caithness, purchased the Whitefriars name. Approx. 2 1/2" diameter, 1 5/8" high. Flat ground base. Excellent condition. Case is in excellent condition. Signed on base: Whitefriars signature cane date 1982 with the monk silhouette; Number 12 in series of 500. Boldly etched-- "Whitefriars for Marshall Fields." | ||
