| Reported by an astute collector as a "rare find in the US", this fabulous little still life displays five, hand-painted birds perched on a tree branch highlighted with snow. The lid as a miniature canvas presents a delicate, realistic style painting and bears three inscriptions along the lower edge. The interior features the traditional red color. In very good condition, the lacquer box measures 2 3/4" long, 1 1/4" wide, and 7/8" deep. It's a real gem! c. 1970's | ||
