In this beautiful oil on board, George Raab captures a tranquil Wisconsin landscape- a sparkling lake surrounds a lone fisherman with a stand of pines rising high on the horizon. Untitled and dreamy, this small work of impressionism likely was executed during his years in Milwaukee, 1899-1912. It appears in a gold Florentine frame. Signed on lower right corner. Excellent condition. Image size: 8 1/4" W x 6" L; With frame: 12" W x 9 3/4" L.
