Greek terracotta female head, 4th Century BC

Ancient Greek terracotta female head, South Italy, 4th Century BC. She is wearing a polos headdress on long wavy hair parted in the center, with one large side curl. A few faint remains of ochre paint in the hair. Height: 9.4 cm. Good condition, only minor damage to the right side of the nose. No repairs! Some encrustation on the surface. Height: 9.4 cm. Purchased on the Dutch art market.
