Magnificent intact ancient Greek black glazed shallow dish decorated with six stamped palmettes and five stamped arc shape lines. South Italy, circa 350 BC. Good quality lustrous black glaze. Diameter across rim: 18.1 cm. Height: 4.7 cm. In excellent intact condition. No cracks, no chips, no restoration. Cloudy calcareous patches on the reverse. Purchased on the Dutch art market.
