Greek Apulian black glazed decorated kylix, C. 350 BC

Ancient Greek black glazed kylix, South Italy, circa 350 BC. Decorated in the center with five stamped palmettes around an incised circle. Width from handle to handle: 20 cm. Height: 4.8 cm. Excellent condition. No restorations. Ancient kiln flaw to the rim showing as a small crack. Dark-grey lustrous black glaze with etched root marks and minor calcareous deposits. Ex German private collection.
